Attempts to cheat when renewing a domain

Attempts at domain renewal fraud have become more frequent recently. If you receive an e-mail from suspicious companies inviting you to renew your domain with them, you should ignore them.

Messages are sent by speculators who obtained your email address and domain expiration date. In the messages, users are urged to renew their domain with the specific company, and if they do not, the domain will be irretrievably lost. The main purpose of these messages is to get the user to submit a renewal request through their "fishing" page by entering their credit card details in the renewal form. The renewal price is usually several times higher than the average market price, but it is possible that proposals for renewal at more attractive prices will soon appear.

To avoid becoming a victim of fraud, keep the following in mind:

The domain registered by you can be renewed only in VPSExtra.com.
The only real emails related to your domain are those sent by VPSExtra.com.
The messages we send are in Bulgarian and they must contain the data for access to your client profile in our system, through which you can make a request for domain renewal.
