How do I change the DNS (name servers) of a domain?

The domain is registered through VPSExtra.com

If you have purchased a domain from VPSExtra.com, you can change its DNS settings from your client profile. See more information in the article: Changing DNS settings for a domain
Note: Note that the full DNS refresh period lasts 2-48 hours, after which the domain will be loaded by the specified Name servers.
The domain is not registered through VPSExtra.com

Once your domain has been registered, the company that registered it must provide you with a control panel or access account from which you can change the domain settings.

To change the DNS of the domain, log in to the account with the data provided to you and look for the DNS settings menu or Name Servers. When you access these settings, remove the old Name servers and replace the new ones.

In order for a site to load normally, it is necessary to have at least two name servers installed - Primary Name Server and Secondary Name Server.
Note: Note that the full DNS refresh period lasts 2-48 hours, after which the domain will be loaded by the specified Name servers.
